Mood board and analysis of target audience for your magazine

The demographic profile of my chosen magazine target audience would look something like this,
the class of this mood board looks like a working class(c2,d and e) because it has images of people going clubbing and it has alcohol so this is inferring that they maybe go clubbing and consume alcohol, and I believe that a higher/middle class(a, b, and c1) wouldn’t really do this you would find a working class member more likely to be like this and you wouldn’t really find a higher class person reading The Sun newspaper as it’s more of a tabloid and higher class people would be more likely to read something like a broadsheet newspaper that has more constructed language.
The gender for my mood board would be mainly for girl’s aged around about in their teenage years; or maybe young adults. I can tell this because the mood board involves make-up and fashion and young celebrities such as Cheryl Cole and Zak Effron, which people of this age would be interested in and idolise or crush on. I thought the age would be teenagers because it has things such as technology (iPhone), fashion that is up-to-date, and an image of two people listening in on some gossip and the younger generation tend to gossip a lot, especially girls. And the physiographic profile would be “Individuals” being hard to classify because they are often young, or maybe “Aspirers” because they want the luxury lifestyle.
The regionality would definitely British because it has a TV programme such as the x-factor which is shown on British television.
From this you can tell that their hobbies may be going out with friends, partying at the weekends, following fashions/trends, watching television that includes a source of fame and idolise people like Cheryl Cole, so this relates back to the fact that I categorised my audience as aspirers as their physiographic profile. Also my audience like to eat chocolate but there is also a slight hint that they want to diet also, so this also relates to the physiographic profile as they want to eat what they want but they want the life of luxury and want to follow something that’s better than what they have and keep fit and slim. I chose to advertise the fact that these people may want to diet on my mood board because the magazine I chose often has headlines such as “Kerry’s diet plan”, and by them doing this they are representing that a celebrity has lost weight and they will tell you how to do it, so they are trying to relate to you, so to me I see this as in a way persuading the audience to be more of a aspirers physiographic profile.
